I couldn’t watch this because I know it would have been too emotional for me. But I think any avenue of awareness about domestic abuse should be widely circulated so thank you for sharing this.
Hard to hit the Like button on this one Scott. Very effective video, I might add though that often times there are no bruises or blood in an abusive situation. I have been choked, cold cocked, slapped, thrown across a room and never had a visible scar. I’ve been out of the relationship for over 2 years and I carry emotional scars that hurt to this day.
I just didn’t want people to think there his to be visible scars to qualify as abuse.
Great post though 🙂
Oh. My. Goodness. Is this an actual abused woman who is chronicling her abuse? Or is this an actress shooting a commercial or film on the subject of domestic abuse?
Either way, it’s compelling and extremely effective. I was deeply moved.
No one…..and I do mean NO ONE……should ever be subjected to any type of abuse by another human being.
Reblogged this on A VOICE FOR HOPE and commented:
End the silence. Stop the violence. Give all victims a voice for hope.

Actually I think it is a PSA, but it’s certainly compelling nonetheless.
